GREEDY OFFICIALS; ASK JUDAS

From time immemorial, the pace of development and human progress has most often been intercepted or slowed down by cunning and greedy men; men with hyper insatiable appetites; the power huggers, sellers of their nation for a bag of silver. from the Senate to our representatives to past  head of state and government, and presidents in our 21st century democratic eras; are men who the populace elected and those who selected and manipulated their  way through to the cabin of power; to sit amongst the officials deciding the affairs and destiny of our dear nation; unfortunately they have consistently mis-navigated the moral, economic, political, socio-religious and educational compasses of this nation to an island where they have held hostage and continuously loot the cargo of our destiny; concomitantly siphoning the passengers; on our route to nowhere yet.
Ooh kinsmen of Judas; men in agbadas, saris, Durban ties and robes; taking their seats amongst the noble; callous ones who hold the bags of our treasury, they hug the pillars of our authority, they are green snakes in green grasses; appointed as  disciples with the great commission; to lead us in and teach us the way of life; a function of grace; but these ones sees the position as an opportunity to  loot the treasury, to sell our beloved country for thirty pieces of silver; wait!! That’s an understatement; because these ones are aspiring to loot us off trillions of dollars. like Judas, they share piety with us; at the gates of entrance into the cabin of power; they evangelize to  us, they were part of the distributors of the multiplied loaves of bread and 2 fishes which GOD the father deposited in the crevices of our soil, but the aim  of their distribution is to gather the remaining 12 baskets left over; they have been eyeing it from afar; in fact there has never been a moment when they wanted the multiplied favour to go round; they just want to harbour the multiplied and the leftover; and to further double the leftover via the labor of the crowd which they go around to engage in after they had temporarily departed from the master.
Ooh, Judases; the lots of our leaders; of the Niger – area; why are you so filled with greed as one drunk with drunkenness, your level has graduated to the heights of stupor, yet you gain no pity, injuring yourselves; as you feel you’re destroying us. officials in our political sphere, the committee of our destiny, you are not tired of deceit, forgetting your pedigree, your integrity; well I don't fully blame you; as you are been deceived and fueled often by certain persons who should have stood their grounds and speak the truth to your faces ;
and you all prophets of doom ,  Alfa’s and bishops, imams and pastors; advisers in the corridors of power, those who should bring consolation to the people; you should help instil the fear of GOD in this greedy ones, you should be standing firm in the laws and statutes of the LORD your GOD,  but you've been infected, you are keen on taking  the pieces of gold as proposed to a character - kinsman of Judas; Balaam son of Beor : you would take a fee, even consider the handsome reward from these greedy rulers, to curse all of us and then plead to GOD to grant the evil desires of your new masters.

But note; you will all go by greed

Ask Judas: for greed, he strayed away from those who were saved; those who were commissioned to spread the good news to the uttermost part of the earth.
Those whose end was glorious and homebound; he lost it to greed.

Ask Judas; his own conscience eventually pricked him, he saw vanity in all he had salivated for, the ill-gotten riches of this world. He destroyed himself

Greedy officials; ask Judas; while you acquire all and all acquire you
And you eventually drown in the greed that once pushed you.

Ask Judas; before your acquired loots, buy you a land, a potter’s field. To bury you in and be tagged the field of blood. For all you acquired was a product of greed.

Nigeria and the “care – free’’ culture

Nigeria and the “care – free’’ culture “Culture” according to Sir E.B Tylor (an anthropologist) is that complex whole that includes Knowledge, beliefs, arts, morals, laws, customs, and any other capabilities and habits that are collectively acquired by man as member of society. While culture is a beautiful phenomenon that creates a platform for uniqueness and group identity, however, certain behavioral practices stems from dangerous and unpalatable habits of the people and later expands into a full blown culture. Over the years as a result of political shortsightedness and inefficiencies which created economic stagnation and social nuisances, Nigeria according to my philosophy has eventually fit into an analogy of a fleshy human body having its skeletal frame work made of half bones, quarter sticks, with some parts held together by brooms, some by straws, making the country one with a philosophy of a staggering drunkard that stands and fall bedeviled with disappearing and re –...

AFRICAN dictators; Beware!!! It's a new dawn

In the race for progressive societies, the quest for modernity and advancement; the basic form of Government universally agreed and accepted as constituting the most ideal and potent for promoting the platform and umbrella for individual self expression, development, and advancement without repression of any sort Is Democracy; the Government of the people, by the people and for the people according to Abraham Lincoln. It is rather unfortunate that since the attainment of independence by 98% of African nations, many have witnessed democratic - dictatorial regimes, as far stretched as the past can be recollected. This is a paradoxical situation that throws one into some moments of “awe”, from south Sudan’s Omar al – Bashir (28 years rule and counting) to Paul Biya of Cameroon (35 years and still counting), down to Paul Kagame of Rwanda (17 years and still counting) and recently ousted former presidents in Yahyah Jammeh and Robert Mugabe of Gambia and Zimbabwe respectively. The rule ...
